I'll never forget the mixed feelings associated with becoming a father on January 23rd, 2015. I had people disappointed that I may not reach my fullest potential, but I was confident that failure was not an option.
Caleb matured me in more than ways I could've ever imagined. Instead of focusing on distractions and burning time lost in thought, providing for him was my most important priority. I graduated from the University of Southern California and immediately began a career with Aramark Healthcare - all the blood, sweat, and tears invested; has paid off.
Today I welcome you to explore the lessons I've learned and the journey I'm on by reading 30_30 Change in Movement. Surprisingly today is January 23rd, 2022. By the grace of God my son is 7 years young and he's a co-author!
Ignore the naysayers and doubters who question your moves without understanding your game plan, execution. If you become a parent earlier than some, own it. If you made mistakes it's ok because each day we're given is new and we're only human. Embrace your worth and even in your darkest moments remember that it's all working together for your good.
Caleb is part of my legacy and we're only getting started. How are you setting up your family and communities for success? Ask yourself this, is it too soon or too late to start working on your legacy? I guess I've already answered this question for myself.
