After hearing the alarm blaring at 6 am and rethinking eating the left-overs next to my laptop I thought moments like these wouldn't end; being an undergrad student.
In undergrad, I had plenty of ideas of whom I wanted to become but struggled to find a linear path to get there. Mistakingly I thought that if I studied harder, and checked off every
highlighted undercover pre-requisite like joining extracurricular activities success would be instant.
I was wrong.
I had to learn that success isn't linear but cyclical. Leverage challenging times to build your character and allies. Undergrad is a time for self-discovery and isn't only predicated on nailing a six-figure income.
Dr. King famously stated, "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”
