A Pic Worth a Thousand Words: Proud MBA Grad

On May 16th, 2025, I completed my master's in business administration at Louisiana State University Shreveport.

After reflecting, I've often been asked the following questions:

1. Was it challenging to balance your personal life, career, and studies? Absolutely, and I have a few coffee mugs to prove it. But you can do it too. Don't let time slip away without taking a chance on yourself by advancing your education.

2. Why did you choose to pursue your MBA at LSUS? Family and community mean everything to me! I wanted a lasting connection to the birthplace of my family, which is in Louisiana.

3. What's next? I have several personal projects lined up, including helping others remember that one of life's greatest gifts is the ability to dream and create.

After four years of coursework and frequent thoughts of giving up, I refused to quit.

I'm far from perfect, but I never doubt my self-worth. And neither should you.

As I often tell others, hard work beats talent.
